Artist Statement

My concentration pieces focus on bring flowers to life by using fabric, wire, sheet metal and other materials. I'm trying to bring a quirky sense into each flower by using materials that aren't normally fitting for that type of flower.

These roses for my 6th concentration piece are made from wire, towel-like material, mesh, and other fabrics

For my piece involving a book and a figure, I made the book into a swimming pool and a figure in the water after jumping off the diving board.
